Greek Summer is still here – Beauty of the day

Living currently in Cyprus does not mean that the Greek traditional summer moments are away… We discovered a Greek corner at Protaras bay and we enjoyed it to the most.

Ouzo on the rocks and meze: tomatoes, cheese and ham, olives, cucumber and bread sticks!!! The best food after the beach and couple of hours of swimming and suntanning!!!

Yes!!! Summer is still here and Greece is always in our heart!!!

Time to go back home…

Preveli palm beach – Beauty of the day

One of the most beautiful places in Crete, Greece, is Preveli beach and it’s palm forest! It’s in the south part of Crete in the municipality of Rethymnon.

The river is surrounded by hundreds of palms creating a picture of absolute beauty!!! Magical… It ends at the Libyan sea forming a small lagoon. The water is really cold but refreshing at the same time.

It’s worth visiting! Don’t miss the opportunity if you are around…

Let’s get lost in paradise!!!

Beauty is a beach

Protaras is the most famous place in Cyprus during the summer. Very beautiful beaches but yet very touristic for my taste. In June, me and my boyfriend discovered a lovely bay in Pernera area that blowed us away!!! It’s peaceful and calm, clean and organised due to the hotels around and it has the best fish restaurant on the island.

Since our first visit there, we haven’t stopped coming back on weekends for swimming, relaxing and enjoying our lunch! “Kalamies beach restaurant” is surely my favourite place this summer. The service is excellent, friendly and smiling and we feel very welcome every time we go there. The place is very stylish in white and reminds you of a greek modern tavern on an island. The best part of course is the food… fresh materials, fresh fish, fresh seafood! Delicious, delicious, delicious!!!

Ouzo is the perfect drink to accompany seafood so… Cheers!

“Geia mas” as we say in greek
